Detectives are investigating after a man was shot and wounded late Wednesday in the Chinatown-International District.
Around 11:30 PM, police received a report that a man had been shot near 7th Avenue and Dearborn Street.
Officers arrived and found a 21-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his shoulder.
Police provided medical aid until Seattle Fire Department medics transported the man to Harborview Medical Center.
The victim and witnesses provided limited details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting. SPD’s Gun Violence Reduction Unit is investigating.
