#2021-264977/North Precinct/Third Watch:
On 10-07-2021 at 0100 hours, officers and Seattle Fire responded to a fire involving a vehicle and a detached wood garage. The Fire Marshal determined the fires to be arson. SPD’s Arson Bomb Squad detectives were notified and responded to the scene to assist with the investigation. There were no witnesses or suspect information at the time of this report.
#2021-264980/West Precinct/Third Watch:
On 10-07-2021 at 0113 hours, a female with a gunshot wound (GSW) was dropped off at Harborview Medical Center. The victim was not cooperative and had a non-life threatening GSW to her forearm. The witnesses who dropped her off reported she came out of an encampment east of the 700 block of 10 Av S. Officers located a tent with blood on it in the encampment and checked inside for possible additional victims finding none. Gun Violence Reduction Unit notified.
#2021-265757/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 10-07-2021 at 1924 hours, two vehicles were involved in a road rage incident. One occupant of a pickup truck pulled out a gun and shot at a Subaru as they were traveling SB on Rainier Av S. Several bullets struck the Emerald City Bible Fellowship church. The driver of the Subaru pulled over and called 911. The shooting vehicle drove away SB on Rainier Av S. No injury was reported. There was damage to the church and to the Subaru. No suspect info at this time. Officers identified the shooting location and collected evidence of a shooting. The report will forward to Gun Violence Reduction Unit.
