#2021-267994/East Precinct/Third Watch:
On 10-10-2021 at 0159 hours, officers assigned to Night Life Emphasis in the Capitol Hill Bar District observed a disturbance outside of 1010 E Pike St, Club Havana. A patron/suspect removed from the establishment was with arguing with security, with minor pushing and shoving from all parties involved. Officers successfully separated the parties, though the suspect remained highly agitated and hostile. As officers were attempting to prevent the suspect from re-approaching the establishment, an officer stepped in his way. The suspect shoved the officer, causing no injury. The suspect was subsequently arrested for Assault 3 and booked into King County Jail.
#2021-268137/South Precinct/First Watch:
On 10-10-2021 at 0711 hours, officers responded to a Seattle Fire station to investigate a suspicious package. SPD’s Arson Bomb Squad was requested, responded, and determined the package to be full of candy.
#2021-268183/West Precinct/First Watch:
On 10-10-2021 at 0826 hours, officers responded with Seattle Fire for a report of an unresponsive female in the hallway of the Lyons Building. SFD worked on the female for approximately 30 minutes before ceasing their efforts to revive her. The investigating officers reviewed evidence and confirmed the female had been dragged out of one of the apartments into the hallway about an hour before 911 was called. The resident and another guest of the apartment said they had invited the female into the apartment off the street so she could shoot up but then became disruptive, so they removed her from the apartment. Due to conflicting stories and evidence, Homicide was consulted. Officers processed the scene. KCME responded and claimed the body.
#2021-268683/West Precinct/Third Watch:
On 10-10-2021 at 2017 hours, officers responded to an overdose call with Seattle Fire. As medics began treating the subject, they located a loaded magazine on the subject’s person and tossed it to the side. Officers recognizing the magazine, conducted a quick frisk and located a firearm in the subject’s waistband. A records check of the firearm showed the firearm was reported as stolen. The subject was transported to Harborview Medical Center where he currently remains under guard. He will be booked into King County Jail upon his release from HMC. Photos of the firearm were taken as evidence. Firearm submitted into evidence.
