#2021-277713/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 10-20-2021 at 0107 hours, an adult male armed with handgun attempted to steal vehicle from the owner. Suspect was unable to take the vehicle but assaulted the victim and stole his cell phone. The suspect was in the company of two other people. A K9 track was performed but no suspect was located.

#2021-277765/North Precinct/First Watch:

On 10-20-2021 at 0319 hours, a witness was driving northbound on Aurora Ave N approaching N. 76th when he observed an object flying in the air a block to the north. Once the witness proceeded north, he observed a male lying in the roadway. A vehicle was seen continuing north from the scene; it is believed the suspect vehicle is an early-mid 2000’s model Mercedes sedan. Seattle Fire responded and pronounced the adult male pedestrian deceased. Traffic Collision Investigation Squad Detectives responded and conducted a full scene investigation.

#2021-277984/West Precinct/First Watch:

On 10-20-2021 at 0923 hours, two individuals who live in neighboring tents were in a verbal altercation. This led to the suspect grabbing a piece of rebar and poking at the victim’s tent until the victim exited. The two began to fight and landed on one of the tents, causing it to collapse. The fight continued until the victim yelled that he was stabbed. The suspect fled and was located and arrested by officers a couple blocks away. The victim suffered stab wounds to his face, neck, and armpit, along with a broken arm after being struck by the rebar. He was transported to the hospital by medics. The rebar and a knife were recovered at the scene and the suspect was booked into jail for assault.

#2021-278374/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 10-20-2021 at 1625 hours, the same suspect from a previous armed robbery came to a gas station in the 7100 block of Rainier AV S and again robbed the store at gunpoint. The suspect fled the store on foot with cash. Multiple units responded however, the suspect was not located.

#2021-278664/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 10-20-2021 at 2158 hours, a male victim picked up a female acquaintance in the Ballard area. The victim was conducting an off-the-books rideshare for the female. She had the victim drive her to Georgetown. When the victim pulled up to a pre-determined location a male suspect approached the driver and pulled him out of the car at gunpoint. The suspect manipulated the slide of his pistol, ejecting a round onto the ground. The suspect and the female acquaintance then drove away in the victim’s car toward Interstate 5. The investigation indicates that the female acquaintance orchestrated the incident.

#2021-278700/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

On 10-20-2021 at 2317 hours, witnesses observed a White Chrysler Sedan in the area of 5400 Fauntleroy Way SW. The vehicle appeared to be occupied by a single driver described as a male with a shaved head, heavy build and wearing a white t-shirt. This suspect fired several shots out of the driver’s side of the vehicle up into the air as he drove northbound through the 5200 block of Fauntleroy Way SW. Officers arrived in the area and conducted an area search. Evidence of a shooting was located in the street and collected. A search for damage on surrounding buildings or potential victims did not locate anything. Additional area checks for the suspect vehicle were unsuccessful.
