#2021-285834/West Precinct/Third Watch:
On 10-28-2021 at 0051 hours, there was a disturbance between people near 3 AV and Pike St. An unknown suspect shot a victim. The suspect ran away and is at large.
#2021-286076/East Precinct/First Watch:
On 10-28-2021 at 0940 hours, a suspect entered a business and was confronted by employees regarding previous and suspected ongoing thefts. Suspect removed a concealed, large 8-12-inch knife, held it by his side and proceeded to take several items from the store without paying. The suspect was contacted outside the store by officers, but he fled on foot. Officers were unable to locate the suspect during the area check.
#2021-286125/East Precinct/First Watch:
On 10-28-2021 at 1030 hours, the caller reported that two male subjects entered the victim business and one of the subjects placed some items in a shoulder bag and eventually made their way towards the exit at which time the store manager attempted to stop them and advised the subject that he would need to pay for the items that he placed inside his bag. While attempting to stop the subject from leaving, the suspect then assaulted the store manager and fled the scene without paying for the items. The store manager sustained injuries and was treated at the scene by Seattle Fire. An area check for suspects was negative.
#2021-286546/North Precinct/Second Watch:
On 10-28-2021 at 1837 hours, officers responded to a report of shots fired. Suspect was located at scene and arrested. Handgun and evidence of a shooting were recovered. No damage or injuries known at this time. Suspect was booked for reckless endangerment.
#2021-286626/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
On 10-28-2021 at 2019 hours, officers responded to the 2200 block of SW Barton Place for a medical emergency. The caller’s eleven-month-old baby had stopped breathing after ingesting an unknown substance. Officers arrived, performed CPR, and were able to resuscitate the child with the assistance of Seattle Fire. The child was transported to Children’s Hospital for follow up treatment.
#2021-286639/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 10-28-2021 at 2030 hours, someone living in an encampment near the T-Mobile stadium was struck by a moving vehicle while he was walking in a lane of traffic in heavy rain. The driver was evaluated by a DUI officer who found no signs of impairment. The pedestrian was transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Patrol processed the scene. Traffic Collision Investigation Squad was advised.
#2021-286651/West Precinct/Third Watch:
On 10-28-2021 at 2044 hours, officers responded to the area near 1 Av/Blanchard St regarding a stabbing. Officers located a victim with multiple stab wounds. They rendered aid until Seattle Fire arrived. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center where his injuries were determined to be non-life threatening. Officers were only able to obtain a vague suspect description and the suspect is still outstanding. PIO advised.
