#2021-290494/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 11-01-2021 at 2039 hours, while driving to a call, a patrol officer on-viewed an occupied stolen vehicle. The officer attempted to pull the stolen vehicle over. The vehicle stopped and the driver exited the vehicle and ran away on foot. The officer drove after the suspect and sideswiped an RV (unoccupied). There was damage to the RV and the patrol vehicle. Another officer responded and took primary for the collision. No suspect was located. The Incident was screened by LT.
#2021-290496/North Precinct/Third Watch:
On 11-01-2021 at 2040 hours, a suspect damaged light fixtures on a victims’ property, then hurled racial insults. The victims did not feel targeted by the suspect’s actions. After determining the suspect did not meet King County Jail’s booking criteria, officers cleared the scene to document the incident. Shortly thereafter, the suspect went back to the victims’ residence, caused considerably more property damage, and hurled more slurs. Upon return to the scene, officers discovered the suspect had specifically and narrowly attacked the victims’ residence, as other homeowners on the block were not targeted during the incident. Officers were unable to arrest the suspect. Policy mandated notifications were completed.
#2021-290567/North Precinct/Third Watch:
On 11-01-2021 at 2240 hours, a victim stated he was out in front of the Ballard PCC with several other people when the suspect vehicle fired two shots, with one striking the victim in the leg. The victim then walked about five blocks to an RV to have them call 911. Witnesses were not located and there was no evidence of a shooting found. The victim was not able to give any suspect description.
