#2021-299234/East Precinct/Third Watch:

On 11-11-2021 at 0033 hours, officers responded to the 1700 Block of Summit Ave for a report of harassment. Officers completed an investigation and determined the incident involved bias elements. The incident was documented, and the correct units were notified.

#2021-299488/South Precinct/First Watch:

On 11-11-2021 at 1000 hours, a community member called 911 to report an attempted armed robbery (carjacking) in South Seattle. Officers arrived and were able to determine that a delivery driver was inside his company vehicle when the suspect pulled a handgun on him and demanded the vehicle. The suspect was unsuccessful in her attempt and moved down the street where a King County Metro Access bus was parked. The suspect forced open the doors to the bus believing that it was unoccupied only to be confronted by the bus driver. The suspect exited the bus and fled N/B from the business parking lot just as additional officers were arriving in the area. Containment was established and a K9 track was conducted. The suspect was successfully taken into custody without incident. The Robbery unit was notified and screened this incident.

#2021-299576/East Precinct/Second Watch:

On 11-11-2021 at 1202 hours, officers responded to a carjacking in the 900 block of 23 Av. Officers located the vehicle several blocks away and began following the vehicle, waiting for additional officers to arrive in the area. Once the suspect noticed the patrol units behind him, he cut through a convenience store parking lot. Officers arriving in the area positioned their car in the suspect’s likely egress route. The suspect turned down the road and rammed the patrol vehicle which was occupied by two officers. The vehicle then fled and was last observed going westbound on E Cherry St. One officer was injured when the suspect rammed their patrol vehicle and is being evaluated by medical personal.

#2021-299745/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 11-11-2021 at 1613 hours, officers responded to a report of a male attacked by a machete-wielding man. The victim suffered a serious but non-life- threatening injury to his foot. Officers began providing first aid but were quickly relieved by Seattle Fire. Officers conducted a thorough check of the area but did not locate the suspect.

#2021-300001/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 11-11-2021 at 2157 hours, a call came in of a male having been shot in a parking lot just off Beacon Av S near the VA Hospital and Jefferson golf course. There were two victims that were taken from the scene and driven to Harborview Medical Center prior to police arrival. The shooting took place in a homeless encampment. The victims are in critical condition and at the time of writing, they were both in surgery. The scene was eventually located and processed. Homicide was notified and screened this incident.

#2021-300039/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 11-11-2021 at 2257 hours, evidence showed a suspect vehicle driving slowly southbound on 45th Av S. The front seat passenger pointed a pistol into the air and fired three shots. Officers located evidence of a shooting but no victims or property damage. No one was present when the incident occurred, and there is no known motive for the incident.
