#2021-317081/West Precinct/Third Watch:
On 12-01-2021 at 0020 hours, an adult victim left a building in the 2000 block of 5 AV Seattle WA and walked to his parked car. An unknown suspect attacked him from behind, pistol whipped the victim, and stole the victim’s car. The suspect fled in the car and was not located by responding officers. On duty Lieutenant was apprised of the incident.
#2021-317161/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
On 12-01-2021 at 0300 hours, a male victim had car issues at the 9400 BLK of 30 Ave SW. The victim saw a white vehicle drive slowly past him and make a U turn. The victim thought the inhabitants were going to assist him with his vehicle. Instead, the two suspects in the white vehicle exited and went to their car trunk. The suspects pulled out two handguns and pointed the firearms at the victim making threats. The suspects demanded the victim’s wallet, keys, and cellphone. The suspects demanded the victim’s cell phone PIN. The victim complied with all the suspects’ demands, and the suspects left on SW Roxbury St. Officers recovered a rifle round on the ground at the scene, so the suspects possibly have a rifle inside their vehicle. The suspects possibly texted the victim in the second robbery that occurred at the 3400 BLK of SW Graham St (see case# 21-317143). The victim in the second robbery is the roommate to the first victim. Robbery was notified about the incident.
#2021-317143/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
On 12-01-2021 at 0329 hours, a male victim received texts from his roommate’s cell phone that he needed to be picked up because his vehicle isn’t working. The victim drove to the Walgreens, and then checked the area at the 3400 BLK of SW Graham St. The victim parked, and the suspects pulled up in a white vehicle. Two suspects exited the vehicle and pointed handguns at the victim. The suspects demanded the victim’s cellphone, wallet, and keys. The victim gave the suspects his cellphone and wallet. The suspects demanded the victim’s keys too, but the victim fled on foot. The suspects chased for a short distance but discontinued following the victim. While the victim was trying to call 911, the suspects poured an unknown white powder inside his vehicle. Seattle Fire responded to check the unknown substance. The suspects in this robbery are possibly the same in the previous robbery (case# 21-317161). Robbery was notified about both incidents.
#2021-317324/South Precinct/First Watch:
On 12-01-2021 at 0900 hours, an officer on viewed a vehicular assault and observed the suspect flee the scene. The suspect was driving a white SUV. Officer remained at the scene to render aid to the victim. The investigation revealed the suspect and victim are co-workers and had a disagreement spanning several days. Today, the victim entered the store where the suspect works at and made a racially motivated comment to the suspect. The suspect confronted the victim and a physical fight occurred, ending when the suspect tased the victim. The suspect exited the store and entered her vehicle, which was parked in front of the store. The victim exited the store, retrieved a taser from her vehicle, and approached the suspect vehicle. The victim used her taser and tased the front of the suspect’s vehicle. The suspect then drove forward, crushing the victim between her vehicle and the front of the store, pining the victim against the propane bottle exchange cabinet. The suspect fled as officer was arriving. Seattle Fire responded and the victim was transported to the hospital for medical treatment, including a broken leg. Both the suspect and victim were identified. The suspect was not located. Incident screened with Traffic Collision Investigation Squad and Homicide. The incident will be forwarded to the Homicide Unit for follow-up.
#2021-317936/East Precinct/Third Watch:
On 12-01-2021 at 2114 hours, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Harvard Av to the report of a male standing on a fourth-floor balcony railing. Officers arrived and confirmed a male, who apparently was under the influence and in crisis was threatening to jump. A 2-plus hour Hostage Negotiation Team negotiation ensued until he was ultimately talked off the railing. The male was talked on to an AMR gurney under an emergent mental health hold without incident.
#2021-317941/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 12-01-2021 at 2123 hours, an incident occurred in the 8300 block of Renton Av S. Two males were sitting in a vehicle in front of their house. A suspect drove up behind them (in a black sedan), exited, and fired several rounds in the air. The suspect got back in the vehicle and left. Officers interviewed both males, but they were unable to locate any evidence of a shooting. There were several reports of a black sedan driving recklessly at the time of this incident. Patrol processed the scene. The report will be forwarded to Gun Violence Reduction Unit.
#2021-318044/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
On 12-01-2021 at 2355 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of the 4100 block of SW Edmunds ST. The officer recognized the front seat passenger as a felony DOC warrant suspect and officers placed him under arrest. The driver indicated that his firearm was in the rear passenger seat area and gave officers consent to recover it. It had been unloaded with rounds pulled out of the magazine and then tossed in the back seat. Officers could not determine ownership of the gun as the driver had no paperwork and the gun returned “no record”. It was placed into evidence. The warrant suspect was arrested on assault 2 warrant and booked into SCORE.
