Police are investigating after a man was wounded in a shooting early Thursday at an encampment.
Around 1:30 police received a report a man had been shot at an encampment near 10th Avenue South and South Lane Street.
Officers arrived and found the victim, who had multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers provided medical aid until Seattle Fire arrived and transported the man to Haborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
