#2022-048062/West Precinct/Third Watch:
On 02-25-2022 at 0319 hours, officers responded to a call regarding a male who had been stabbed. Upon arrival officers located a highly intoxicated victim who had two stab wounds to his leg. The victim believed it was possible that the suspect returned to his unit, but that could not be confirmed. Officers formed a contact team and conducted a knock and announce with no response. The incident was screened and the suspect remains outstanding at this time.
#2022-048229/North Precinct/First Watch:
On 02-25-2022 at 0852 hours, picketers from an ongoing labor dispute involving concrete workers showed up to a commercial jobsite at NE 42 St / 12 Av NE and blocked incoming cement trucks from accessing the site. Representatives from both sides were talked with. After approx. 60 minutes the trucks left the area and the striking workers left shortly after.
#2022-048223/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
On 02/25/2022, the assistant store manager of the PCC located at the 2700 BLK of California Ave SW wanted to report a threat from yesterday. He reported that yesterday at approximately 1700, an unidentified PCC employee was working and asked a customer how he was doing. The male customer replied that he had a headache all day, and that made him want to kill everyone. Next, the customer went on a long tirade about why people go on shooting sprees in large stores like Target, or Walmart when they don’t even know the people they shoot. The customer told the employee that if he were to go on a shooting spree, he would do it in stores filled with people he knew. Last, the customer informed the employee that he used to work in a PCC back in 2002. Officer on scene was unable to locate the employee who heard the threat. The primary officer is working on recovering evidence.
#2022-048737/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 02-25-2022 at 2029 hours, officers responded to the area of 25 Av S and S Hanford St to investigate multiple calls to 911 of shots having been heard. When officers arrived, evidence of a shooting was recovered from the street. Officers could not find any property damage or victims. The scene was photographed, and evidence was gathered. The report has been forwarded to the Gun Violence Reduction Unit.
#2022-048767/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 02-25-2022 at 2102 hours, a male victim stated that he was driving when a suspect cut in front of him in a vehicle to make a right-hand turn. The victim stated he honked the horn, which caused the suspect to stop at the next light and exit the vehicle to stand behind the victim’s vehicle. The victim yelled at him to get back into his vehicle, which he did, but then the suspect began to follow the victim. Victim then heard several loud bangs that he thought were fireworks. The suspect vehicle then drove off. A short time later, the victim looked at the back of his vehicle and located several bullet holes, one of which had a spent bullet in it. The victim was not injured, and no other suspect information was available.
