Detectives are investigating after a man was shot Thursday afternoon in the 1000 block of South Dearborn Street.
Witnesses called the police to an encampment in the 1000 block of South Dearborn Street Thursday around 2:15 pm for a report of a person who had been shot. Police responded and found a man with a suspected gunshot wound to the back.
Seattle Fire Department medics responded to the scene and transported man to Harborview Medical Center.
Detectives are now investigating and asking anyone with information to call the tip line at 206-233-5000.
