#2022-102917/North Precinct/Third Watch:
On 04-25-2022 at 0151 hours, a shooting victim drove himself to Northwest Hospital after being shot once in the face. Suspect vehicle had multiple bullet strikes to hood, a single bullet hole through windshield and another through the rear passenger door. Victim made statements to hospital staff that “two kids” shot him at Burger King. Victim was sedated, intubated, and transported via Seattle Fire Medic One to Harborview Medical Center. Officers canvassed the likely Burger King but were unable to locate a shooting scene or physical evidence. Victim is currently in stable condition and expected to survive. Homicide notified and victim vehicle taken as evidence.
#2022-103117/South Precinct/First Watch:
On 04-25-2022 at 0837 hours, officers responded to a report of an assault/strangulation that had just occurred at 36 Ave. S. and S. Adams St. Officers located the victim and determined the suspect was inside a nearby tent. Officers verified the suspect was inside the tent however, she refused to come out. HNT & SWAT responded. The suspect was taken into custody prior to the service of the warrant. An associated arrest occurred for a violation of a no contact order which stemmed from the original incident.
#2022-103225/North Precinct/First Watch:
On 04-25-2022 at 1054 hours, officers responded to NE Northgate Way and 5 AV NE for a robbery of a person call. Officers learned the suspect was armed with a knife when he stole a bag from the victim. The suspect then displayed the knife to a Metro Coach driver who would not let him on the bus. The suspect then got onto another bus and was not located in the area. At 1136 hours, KCSO called stating they spotted the suspect at 3 and Pine St at the Link Light Rail station. West Precinct units located the suspect, and he was subsequently arrested. The knife and bag were recovered. Suspect booked into KCJ for Robbery and Felony Harassment. Robbery was notified.
#2022-103617/South Precinct/Second Watch:
On 04-25-2022 at 1816 hours, an unknown suspect, in an unknown vehicle, fired shots while driving down the street. When officers arrived, residents of the area had already collected evidence of a shooting. No injuries were reported.
#2022-103619/West Precinct/Second Watch:
On 04-25-2022 at 1821 hours, a victim and suspect got into a disturbance for unknown reasons. Suspect produced a knife and stabbed the victim three times. The victim ran from the scene and was pursued by the suspect. Witnesses began to yell at the suspect to leave. The victim finally collapsed, and witnesses were able to dissuade the suspect from further assault. Officers arrived, arrested the fleeing suspect, provided life-saving first aid to the victim, processed the scene, and collected evidence. Homicide notified.
