#2022-106842/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 04-29-2022 at 0213 hours, an intoxicated woman in crisis called to report herself for DUI and was located by officers parked after having driven the wrong way on a one-way street. Probable Cause was established for DUI and she was taken into custody. Subject kicked multiple officers multiple times. Type 2 force was used. Subject booked into KCJ.

#2022-106930/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:

On 04-29-2022 at 0600 hours, a male victim was at the 9200 BLK of 17 Ave SW at an apartment, and four males assaulted him. The suspects took the victim’s wallet and cell phone. The victim had a laceration on the back of his head, and he was transported to the hospital. The location of the suspects was unknown.

#2022-106950/South Precinct/First Watch:

On 04-29-2022 at 0656 hours, officers responded to the 6300 block of 6 Ave. S. for a report of two people fighting and then shots fired. Officer arrived and located the subject who fired a weapon. The victims were not located however the described victim vehicle was located several blocks away unoccupied with bullet damage. Evidence was located and reviewed at which time the subject was I&R’d from the precinct. This event was screened with Homicide for further investigation. No victims were located but the vehicle was impounded for processing.

#2022-106966/South Precinct/First Watch:

On 04-29-2022 at 0729 hours, officers responded to a report of a fight between two males. One of the males was going after the other armed with a knife. Officers located the victim and suspect, who were separated, and developed probable cause to arrest the armed suspect for assault 2nd degree. The suspect was located outside the Greyhound bus terminal and was highly agitated. The suspect refused to follow officers ‘commands and told officers that they would have to shoot him. The victim advised officers that the suspect was armed with a pocketknife or box cutter. Officers contained the suspect and evacuated the bus terminal. CRT, HNT, K9, and SWAT responded. After a lengthy negotiation that suspect surrendered. Type II and Type I use of force completed. The suspect was treated at the scene by fire and later booked into KCJ for felony assault.

#2022-107196/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 04-29-2022 at 1300 hours, some elementary school students advised staff that a person who was barbequing on his property near school grounds pointed a silver firearm at them while they were on the playground. Officers contained the area and the house in question and immediately began a dialogue with the involved party. The suspect was initially uncooperative and refused to speak with officers, but they were able to gain his consent to search the residence for any firearms or similar items. Located inside the home was a lighter that could easily be perceived to be a weapon. After an investigation determined no crime had occurred, all parties were released.

#2022-107341/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

On 04-29-2022 at 1426, officers responded to a carjacking in the 3000 block of California AV SW. Two males had brandished a gun at the victim and stole her vehicle. Upon arrival, the victim informed officers she was on the phone when she saw the two suspects walking northbound through the alley past her vehicle. The suspects then turned around, walked up to the victim as she sat in her car and demanded she get out and give them her keys. When she did not immediately comply, they repeated their demands with one of them removing a handgun from his pocket, pointing it at her and stating, “we’re not kidding, get the f— out.” The victim was shocked by the situation and did not move. The suspect who did not have the handgun grabbed the victim’s left arm and pulled her out of the vehicle. The same suspect took her keys out of her hand. The suspects then got inside the vehicle and drove northbound through the alley before turning eastbound onto SW Stevens St. The victim was not injured. The suspects also took the victim’s purse which was still inside the vehicle after they pulled her out of the car. Officer did an area check, but the suspects were not located. The vehicle was later located unoccupied in the 400 blk of NE Northgate WY.

#2022-107354/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 04-29-2022 at 1453 hours, a male was asleep in his residence when he heard what sounded like someone inside. Not expecting anyone, he armed himself with a rifle and located an unknown female inside the apartment. The female left the residence once confronted. Shortly after the victim noticed several items missing including a Glock handgun. Officers arrived in the area and located the female and took her into custody. Officers located the firearm and several other belongings on the female and returned them to the owner. The female suspect was booked for Burglary 1 and theft of a firearm.

#2022-107448/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 04-29-2022 at 1650 hours, officers recovered 2 stolen motorcycles and arrested the suspect/resident of a residence, known to officers for trafficking stolen property. A search warrant for the residence was obtained and executed, with the assistance of CRG. Items of evidentiary value were recovered. The threat was screened.

#2022-107493/East Precinct/Second Watch:

On 04-29-2022 at 1729 hours, officers responded to the 800 block of 19th Ave for the report of a vehicle on fire. Witnesses stated a female lit her vehicle on fire. Seattle Fire responded and put the fire out while officers searched for the female and a male who was seen running from the area. Officers located a male subject matching the listed description, a show up was done, and witnesses positively identified the male as the suspect at the scene of the arson. Search incident to arrest, officers recovered a scale and individual baggies of methamphetamine, Percocet, and cocaine. The suspects’ vehicle was impounded as it was left near the scene and had several phones and a large duffle bag with baggies in it. The incident was screened with the Arson Bomb Squad.

#2022-107661/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 04-29-2022 at 2053 hours, officers noticed a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot where multiple stolen recoveries have been located. The vehicle was initially thought to be unoccupied, but a suspect emerged from the vehicle when officers approached. The suspect was armed with a screwdriver, which he quickly discarded into the stolen vehicle. Radio notified officers that the vehicle was an unverified stolen vehicle out of Tacoma and the officers attempted to detain the suspect. The suspect attempted to dive back into the vehicle, but officers prevented him. The suspect was arrested for PSV, and a Type 2 UOF investigation was initiated.

#2022-107708/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

On 04-29-2022 at 2148 hours, officers responded to an armed robbery call at 10 Av Sw/Sw Elmgrove St. The suspect approached three victims from behind and forcefully placed a gun barrel at one victim’s back. The suspect grabbed the victim with a purse and choked her. The suspect then demanded they give him their property, or he would kill them. The suspect was able to steal the purse from the victim and flee the scene on foot heading northbound on 10 Av Sw. A K9 Unit was requested citywide, but there were no K9 units available. Officers checked the area for the suspect but were unsuccessful.

#2022-107749/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 04-29-2022 at 2247 hours, a food delivery driver was delivering in the area of 16 Av S/S Pearl St and got behind a vehicle described as an unknown white sedan. The white sedan suddenly stopped and unknown suspects got out of the vehicle and fired 23 shots at the food deliver vehicle. No one was injured in the incident. Victim vehicle sustained bullet damage as well as an RV that was parked on the side of the street. Officers processed the scene and located evidence of a shooting. GRVU was notified.
