One man was injured in a shooting late Tuesday in South Park.
Around 11:45 p.m., police were called to the 500 block of Donovan Street for reports of gunfire.
Officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. Medics transported the man to Harborview Medical Center.
Police learned two suspects—who are known to residents in the area–approached a residence and began pounding on the door.
The woman inside called her neighbor—the shooting victim—for help. When the victim came out of his home and confronted the suspects, one of the suspects brandished a rifle and fired at the victim.
The suspects then fled the scene.
