On 05-10-2022 an officer was en route to a collision when an employee at a business flagged him down in a parking lot in the 11000 block of Roosevelt Way Northeast and directed him to a nearby vehicle. As the officer was attempting to contact the driver of the vehicle, the driver reversed, crashing into a parked car. The driver then turned and accelerated, leading the officer, who was on foot, to move out of the way of the vehicle. The suspect fled the scene. Police later determined the suspect was involved in a strong-armed robbery in the area.

On 05-11-2022 at 0439 hours, multiple callers reported hearing gunfire in the 7700 block of 45th Avenue Northeast. Officers responded and located multiple casings in the road. Evidence at the scene identified a possible vehicle involved in the incident.
