#2022-168394/North Precinct/Second Watch:
On 07-01-2022 at 1530 hours, CRG officers performed an arrest operation on a violent offender with a DOC weapons violation warrant. Officers located the suspect who was actively involved in an illicit narcotics deal at a gas station located at NE 45th / 2 Av NE. Officers arrested the involved parties and observed several items confirming a drug deal was interrupted. Two vehicles were secured pending search warrants and two suspects were arrested to include the DOC violent offender.
#2022-168783/West Precinct/Third Watch:
On 07-01-2022 at 2200 hours, an articulated Metro bus was turning left onto Terrace St from Yesler Wy. A bicyclist traveling westbound down Yesler attempted to avoid the bus but struck and shattered the windshield. The helmeted bicyclist sustained a fractured finger and orbital eye socket.
