#2022-212010/North Precinct/First Watch:
On 08-12-2022 at 0556 hours, officers responded to a report of a construction vehicle on fire. Fire Marshal responded to the scene and determined this incident was likely an arson. A neighborhood resident told officers he has a similar vehicle that he believed was vandalized by the occupants of a nearby encampment recently. ABS notified.
#2022-212521/West Precinct/Second Watch:
On 08-12-2022 at 1613 hours, CRG conducted narcotics surveillance in the 300 block of Pike St. Officers were able to establish probable cause on a subject for Delivery of a Controlled Substance. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. Search incident to arrest, officers located 5.7 grams of Heroin, 6.9 grams of suspected fentanyl pills, $1,406 in US Currency, and a loaded Smith and Wesson firearm with an extended magazine. The suspect is a convicted felon and currently DOC Active for Vehicular Assault. The subject was booked into KCJ.
#2022-212447/East Precinct/Second Watch:
On 08-12-2022 at 1745 hours, GVRU and CRG located and arrested a suspect identified in a road-rage drive-by shooting (2022-182824) on 7/15. The suspect was taken to SPD HQ for interviewing and then booked into KCJ.
