#2022-215055/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:

On 08-15-2022 at 0557 hours, officers responded to the 8900 block 14 Ave S for a report of a male pointing a gun at a victim. Upon arrival the officers conducted an area check with negative results. The victim stated she was working as a barista and noticed the suspect vehicle arrive in the drive thru. When the victim approached the window, she observed the suspect pointing a handgun at her. The victim backed away from the window and called 911. The suspect fled the area with no further interaction. The same suspect/vehicle description was involved in a robbery of another espresso stand minutes later in the South Precinct area, reference 2022-215057.

#2022-215446/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

On 08-15-2022 at 1400 hours, officers were searching for a stolen motor vehicle that was being tracked by the victim via an app. The vehicle was located in the area of 25 Ave SW / SW Trenton St unoccupied. Officers had a previous contact with the vehicle/suspect earlier in the day, but it had fled. A photo had been taken prior to it fleeing and was shared between watches. As officers were responding to the vehicle, they observed a suspect matching the photo in an alley in the 8600 block Delridge. Officers contacted the subject who attempted to flee. During the struggle to arrest the suspect, a type II Use of Force resulted. The suspect also assaulted one of the officers prior to being placed into handcuffs. Officers processed the vehicle and scene. Property from the vehicle was located with the suspect. The suspect was booked for possessing a stolen motor vehicle and assault 3.

#2022-215564/East Precinct/Second Watch:

On 08-15-2022 at 1634 hours, a female victim was driving her vehicle with her 4-year on in the back seat. She pulled into the secured parking garage at her residence and noticed a male walk in behind her. The victim told the suspect to leave the garage, but he approached her instead. The suspect demanded that the victim exit her vehicle. The victim feared the suspect intended to steal her car and was in fear for her child. She told the suspect she was calling the police and the suspect fled. He was located by responding officers and arrested. The suspect was booked for investigation of robbery and investigation of burglary.

#2022-215815/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 08-15-2022 at 2200 hours, officers were dispatched to a shooting call in the 8300 block of 37th Ave S. Multiple callers reported hearing shots and one caller witnessed a vehicle collide into a parked car. Officers arrived and located evidence of a shooting in front of a residence and an unoccupied vehicle that had collided with a parked car. Officers determined there was a disturbance, shots were fired, and the vehicle collided with the parked car while fleeing from the area of the shots. No suspects or victims were located.
