#2022-217470/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 08-17-2022 at 1415 hours, officers were dispatched to a child luring at a residence near Minor Ave and Howell Street. The complainant reported that an adult male attempted to lure a 15-year-old Female into his apartment. The juvenile female ran into the complainant’s office seeking assistance. Officers located the suspect in the area of 3rd Ave/Pine street where he was taken into custody and booked into KCJ.

#2022-217585/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 08-17-2022 at 1624 hours, officers responded to a report of a bank robbery in Ballard. The suspect provided a written note to the teller stating, “this is a robbery, I’m not kidding”. The teller brought the suspect a cash box and the suspect grabbed it. He then exited the bank and left eastbound on NW Market St. Officers located a tracker at NW 54 St/ 15 Av NW. K9 responded and tracked west from the tracker location but lost the scent after a few blocks. A possible suspect was stopped but later released after a negative show up. Suspect not located after area check.

#2022-217631/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 08-17-2022 at 1712 hours, officers responded to the report of a male that had been stabbed. Officers arrived and located the victim sitting in a chair on the sidewalk of 2 Ave Ext S (300 block). Officers provided medical aid to the victim until Seattle Fire arrived. The victim was stabbed in the left upper thigh and suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect left the scene on foot and was not located. It is unknown what led up to the stabbing.

#2022-217982/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 08-17-2022 at 2230 hours, officers responded to a report of an assault with possible bias elements. The female victim reported that in the Rainier Beach area she was assaulted by a male adult who had been taunting her and calling her a racial slur. The suspect reportedly unexpectedly hit her on her head knocking her to the ground. The victim believes she briefly passed out as a result. The suspect reportedly pointed a handgun at her after she tried to stand up. Once she was up, she retreated from the area and the suspect reportedly left. The victim was not completely cooperative with police and would not give any additional or clarifying details.
