UPDATE: Officers arrested the suspect in this case, a 47-year-old man, Thursday evening on Aurora Avenue.
Detectives are investigating after one man was killed, and another was injured in a shooting in North Seattle early Tuesday morning.
At 12:15 a.m., police were called to the 14300 block of Aurora Avenue North for reports of a person shot. Officers arrived and found a 44-year-old man with fatal gunshot wounds. Seattle Fire Department Medics declared the man deceased at the scene. A second, 46-year-old male victim with a minor apparent graze wound, was transported to Harborview Medical Center via private ambulance.
Members of SPD’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit responded to process the scene for evidence.
Homicide Detectives also responded and will lead the ongoing investigation.
