Police arrested a 42-year-old man 36-year-old woman in Capitol Hill after she and an associate assaulted and stabbed a man.
At about 10:45 p.m., police responded to the 1700 block of Bellevue Avenue for reports of a stabbing. Arriving officers found a 42-year-old man with multiple stab wounds and began first aid. Seattle Fire Department medics responded and took over treatment of the victim, eventually transporting him to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.
According to witnesses, the victim was in a physical fight with a man and woman and the male suspect stabbed him. The suspects reportedly fled into a nearby apartment building and refused to come out.
Police surrounded the unit in question. While officers prepared to serve a warrant on the residence, the male female suspect came out and surrendered. Officers checked the unit but did not find the woman man inside.
Police booked the woman into the King County Jail for assault.
