Police are investigating after a man with a gunshot wound rode a bicycle to a hospital in the University District on Friday afternoon.
Just after 1:00 p.m., police were called to the 4700 block of 7th Avenue Northeast for reports that a man had just shot a gun in an alley. Officers responded and found blood in the alley, but no victim. A witness reported the suspect had fled on foot after firing multiple shots.
About 20 minutes later, a man with a gunshot wound arrived at a nearby hospital via bicycle. The 35-year-old man was immediately treated for his injuries.
