#2022-314373/North Precinct/First Watch:
On 11-23-2022 at 0651 hours, a clerk of a gas station in the 11000 block of Lake City Way NE called 911 and reported there was a robbery. Officers responded and contacted the victim. The victim stated two males wearing masks and gloves entered the business from a vehicle with no plates parked at the pumps and pointed a handgun at him. Victim laid down, suspects stole cash and merchandise before fleeing in their vehicle. Suspects were gone when officers arrived and were not located. Robbery unit Sgt notified.
#2022-314911/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1850 hours, officers responded to the call of an armed robbery. The suspect entered a business and stole a jacket. The suspect was confronted by security and the suspect brandished what was reported to be black handgun in his front waistband and told security “I will smoke you.” Security backed away from the suspect and he fled on foot from the business. Containment was set up around the business and K9 deployed to assist in locating the suspect. Responding officers and 12th/Jackson Emphasis units subsequently located the suspect in the area walking away. The suspect fled from officers on foot and was eventually taken into custody. The reported black handgun was recovered on the suspect, but it turned out to be a fake homemade replica gun. Suspect was wearing the stolen jacket. Suspect was booked into King County Jail for investigation of Robbery.
