#2022-320262/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 11-30-2022 at 0018 hours, officers observed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of a closed business. Three individuals were going in and out of it, pulling items from the vehicle. A check of the plate showed it was an unverified stolen. Upon contact the individuals fled. Officers followed one of males who ran onto I-5 where he attempted to take possession of other motorists’ vehicles stopping for him on northbound I-5. Officers contacted him and took him into custody. The suspect had an outstanding warrant for PSP.

#2022-320386/West Precinct/First Watch:

At 0533 hours, a pedestrian was crossing WB in a crosswalk at 4 AV and SENECA ST when struck by a vehicle. Pedestrian was trapped under the vehicle and dragged approximately a block before the driver realized she ran her over. Seattle Fire extracted the victim. Victim was stable and transported to HMC by SFD. TCIS notified. No answer on DRE page, no evidence of DUI.

#2022-320410/West Precinct/First Watch:

At 0614 hours, a suspect intentionally started two separate fires in the common room of a condo building and in his own condo. Fire Marshal responded and requested SPD. SPD’s ABS responded. Suspect was located 2.5 hours later nearby and taken into custody for arson. ABS detectives notified.

#2022-320467/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:

At 0736 hours, a passerby called and reported a lewd male in the driver seat of a vehicle. Officers arrived and determined that the occupied vehicle was stolen. Officers placed the male into custody for possession of a stolen vehicle. Officers also located a loaded handgun and suspected drugs. The suspect is a known West Seattle repeat offender, and he was booked at KCJ for possession of a stolen vehicle and unlawful possession of a firearm.

#2022-321079/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2000 hours, officers responded to an assault call near the 200 block of Yesler Way. Officers contacted the victim who alleged that the suspect used racially biased language and assaulted her. She said the suspect took additional action that put her in reasonable fear for her safety to the point that she had to reach for her personal OC spray, however; she did not use the spray. The suspect was taken into custody. Alert email sent.
