Police arrested a man Downtown for dealing drugs and illegally carrying a firearm Monday afternoon.
At about 4:30 p.m., officers working a Downtown emphasis shift at 3rd Avenue and Pike Street saw a suspect conduct several narcotics transactions. Officers arrested the 38-year-old man and seized the following items from him:
-A loaded handgun
-$1,718.05 cash
-84 grams of methamphetamine
-42.2 grams of psychedelic mushrooms
-65.7 grams of alprazolam
-7.9 grams powder fentanyl
-78.8 grams fentanyl pills
-12 buprenorphine/naloxone doses
-liquid methadone
-68.3 grams loose flower marijuana
-23 packages of marijuana edibles
-additional miscellaneous pharmaceutical pills
Police booked the man into the King County Jail for unlawful possession of narcotics with the intent to distribute, and unlawful possession of a firearm because he is a convicted felon.
