#2022-333399/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 12-14-2022 at 0210 hours, officers were dispatched to an occupied residential burglary call near the intersection of S Bangor and Renton Ave S. According to the call, the caller heard a loud bang and could hear someone inside their house. Officers arrived and discovered a vehicle had driven into the side of the caller’s home. Officers contacted the suspect/driver inside of the residence and arrested him without incident. The suspect was processed for DUI and was booked into KCJ. The vehicle was removed from the residence and was impounded. Officers were able to obtain plywood and assisted SFD in securing the victim’s home.

#2022-333406/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 12-14-2022 at 0231 hours, officers responded to a report of a burglary near MLK/S Othello St. Officers arrived and store employees had the suspect pinned to the ground in the parking lot. The suspect was bleeding and officers located a small laceration to his left shoulder. Seattle Fire responded and Medic One transported the suspect to HMC for further medical evaluation. Homicide notified.

#2022-333677/East Precinct/Second Watch:

On 12-14-2022 at 1027 hours, property manager/victim called to report a suspect attempting to force his way into an apartment building while yelling bias-based terms at him. The suspect swung at the caller multiple times and missed. The suspect threw a bike at the window and left on foot. Due to the time delay, the caller was no longer on scene and was contacted by third watch patrol via telephone. The caller reported that the previous day the same suspect gained access to the building and caused $60,000 in damage to the elevator (previously reported). The suspect returned today and threatened to kill the caller while yelling additional slurs.

#2022-333937/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1506 hours, officers responded to a robbery in the 4700 block of 42 AV SW where a male subject presented a note that stated this was a robbery and that he had a gun. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival. An extensive area check was conducted with negative results. This incident was screened with the Robbery Unit.

#2022-333980/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1541 hours, officers responded to the 2600 block of SW Barton St for a pharmacy robbery where the suspect passed a note, implied a gun, and made off with some prescription pills, including a tracker. A possible suspect was detained in the area of the tracker with a negative on the show-ups. An involved vehicle was impounded with an investigative hold. The incident was screened with robbery and the detained was released at the scene. An exposure occurred as a result of this incident.
