On 12-15-2022 at 1425 hours, an officer took a report of a malicious harassment incident at a large apartment in the Rainier Valley. There was no suspect information. The incident was screened with bias crimes.
#2022-334954/South Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1628 hours, a victim returned to his tent to find a stranger inside riffling through his property. The victim confronted the suspect, and the suspect produced a knife. The suspect took a swing at the victim with the knife and cut the victim’s ear and back of his head. The suspect took off running. A K9 track took place, but due to the heavy foot and vehicle traffic, the suspect was not located. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Harborview by AMR.
