#2022-337238/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 12-18-2022 at 0126 hours, officers were dispatched to a shooting call in SODO. According to the call, the caller heard one gun shot and saw subjects running. Officers arrived and conducted an area check but did not locate a scene or any evidence of a shooting. A short time later, a victim was dropped off at HMC with a gunshot sound. Officers arrived at HMC and attempted to interview the victim. The victim did not provide any details on the incident.
#2022-337258/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0202 hours, officers responded to a report of several shots fired. The complainant/victim was awakened by a round passing through their apartment window. Suspects were gone when officers arrived. Officers located and recovered evidence of a shooting.
#2022-337275/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0238 hours, officers responded to a single vehicle collision near the intersection of Fairview Av/Boren Ave. Upon arrival the driver of the vehicle had fled the scene. The collision caused significant damage including the complete rupture of a gas line. Seattle Fire was on scene. Puget Sound Energy responded to shut down the gas line. Traffic was diverted around the scene until PSE was able to shut down the gas line. PSE advised significant repairs would be needed to include tearing up sidewalk to access the gas line. PSE further advised that the affected business would not be able to reopen until the lines could be inspected. Attempts to locate the driver were unsuccessful.
