At 2215 hours, officers responded to Rainier Ave S and S Massachusetts St for reports of a male having been threatened at gunpoint. Upon arriving officers spoke with the victim who reported a male in a tent encampment near Rainier Ave S and I-90 had threatened and pointed a handgun at his chest. With assistance from the victim officers were able to locate a likely location and tents. Upon hailing the tents multiple uncooperative males, vaguely matching the suspect description, fled the scene onto I-90. Other possible suspects remained uncooperative at the encampment. At that point, due to a lack of distinctive identifying factors from the victim as to the location of the incident and the suspect the decision was made to withdraw police presence from the area.
