On 01-16-2023 at 1503 hours, witnesses called 911 reporting a drive-by shooting to a residence in the 2300 block of NW 67 St. The investigation revealed that a silver 2012-ish model Chevrolet Camaro with a black racing stripe on the hood was seen travelling northbound at a high rate of speed on 24 Ave NW. The suspect vehicle reportedly drove around the block and southbound on Jones Ave NW. At the intersection of 67 Ave NW the male suspect driver fired four to five rounds from a revolver westbound down the street where a female victim was walking her dog. The suspect vehicle fled southbound on Jones Ave NW after the shots were fired. The victim was not injured and did not believe the suspect was firing at her and the residence did not appear to be involved. Patrol processed the scene and found no evidence or property damage. Guardian One was requested but unavailable. An area check was conducted by patrol with negative results. The incident was screened with GVRU.
