#2023-013574/North Precinct/Second Watch:
On 01-14-2023 at 1630 hours, officers responded with Seattle Fire to a fire at a tiny home village. On arrival, personnel found one of the units fully engulfed in flame. Others in the community had already pulled the resident out of the home and SFD began aid. The resident was transported to HMC by medics. Fire response shut down 15th Ave NW for a considerable amount of time. Fire Marshal responded. While the origin was not known, there were no obvious signs of intentional ignition or arson. SPD’s ABS was briefed. Media was on scene.
#2023-013795/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2115 hours, officers observed a suspected DUI driver. While waiting for uniformed officers to respond, the suspect drew a handgun and pointed it at the officers multiple times. Uniformed officers responded and a short pursuit was initiated before the suspect collided with a metro bus. Foot pursuit ended with the suspect being arrested. Passenger arrested for warrants. Firearm seized. No reported injuries from the collision/pursuit.

CRG officers conducted a stolen vehicle operation throughout the city of Seattle. In total, two stolen vehicles were recovered, 1 stolen plate was recovered, 6.8g meth and .9g cocaine seized, a firearm seized, and 6 suspects were arrested and booked for possession stolen vehicle, VUCSA-PWI, Assault 1, Eluding, DUI, and a variety of warrants.
