Seattle Police responded to a report of a collision involving a train and pedestrian near the intersection of Alaskan Way and Bell Street Thursday evening.
At approximately 05:00 p.m., officers arrived and located a man who had been struck by a BNSF train.
The 30-year-old male victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Seattle Fire Department personnel provided medical aid at the scene and later transported him to Harborview Medical Center.
BNSF will lead investigation of the collision and police will investigate the criminal aspects of the incident.
