#2023-078001/North Precinct/First Watch:
On 03-22-2023 at 1054 hours, officers responded to N 93 ST for a weapons call. After an argument about a firearm, a suspect armed himself with a knife and threatened a victim. The victim and another person were able to exit the home. Upon arrival, officers observed the suspect armed with a knife go back inside the residence. Probable cause was established for felony harassment and containment was established on the residence. HNT responded and was able to gain compliance from the suspect and he was taken into custody. The suspect was booked into YSC. A gun was recovered.
#2023-078219/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1406 hours, officers contacted the victim of a road rage/shooting incident that occurred on 03-19-2023. The rideshare driver reported a black Toyota Camry was driving aggressively and engaging in road rage type behavior. The victim eventually turned around to pick up a customer and passed the suspect who was now outside his vehicle when he heard several shots fired. The victim drove away and later pulled over and found damage to his vehicle from gunfire. No suspect was located.
#2023-078639/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2230 hours, officers responded to multiple calls about shots fired in the 3900 block of S Holden Street. Officers located evidence of a shooting and damage to an occupied residence with no injuries. This appears to have been a gunfight between someone on foot and someone in a car. No suspects were located.
