On 03-26-2023 at 0024 hours, officers responded to the area of 8th Avenue S/S Lane Street for a report of shots heard. Officers located evidence of a shooting and several vehicles were struck by gunfire, but no victims were found. A black sedan was seen leaving the area, and police were unable to locate the vehicle.
#2023-81673/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0129 hours, officers responded to a 911 call after someone heard gunshots in the 10700 block of 55th Avenue S. The caller said an older white 4-door sedan was seen with the passenger firing shots out the window. Police located evidence of a shooting in the area, and no property or victims were located. Patrol processed the scene and GVRU was notified.
#2023-81582/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2313 hours, a 911 call was made after someone fired a weapon inside an apartment building in the 2300 block of S Judkins Street. Officers checked the apartment building and located evidence of a shooting with no injuries. The suspect, who was still on scene when officers arrived, was arrested and booked for unlawful discharge of a firearm.
#2023-82472/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2331 hours, multiple callers reported shots fired around 23rd Avenue S/S Judkins Street. After the shots, callers observed a black car being closely followed by a grey sedan. Officers responded and located evidence of a shooting in the area. There were no victims or property damage located. The scene was processed by patrol.
