Seattle Police responded to a report of an assault involving multiple people yesterday afternoon in Wallingford.
Officers arrived around 4:00 p.m. near the intersection of Aurora Avenue North and North Allen Place. Police spoke with a woman who reported having a verbal altercation with a group of people on a bus. When the 33-year-old female victim exited from the bus, the group followed her and continued to harass her until she boarded another bus.
The victim exited from the second bus and the group followed her once again. This time they began assaulting her and stole her cellphone, shoes, identification cards, gift cards, cash, and other personal effects before fleeing east across Aurora Avenue North. The victim declined medical assistance at the scene for her non-life threatening injuries.
Police searched for the suspects and located them in the 4400 block of Green Lake Way North. Officers recovered the victim’s shoes, cellphone, mail, and coin purse.
The 21-year-old male suspect and the 20-year-old and 19-year-old female suspects were arrested for robbery and booked into King County Jail.
