#2023-090810/South Precinct/Second Watch:
On 4-4-2023 at 1355 hours, detectives from SPD GVRU and task force personnel from the United States Marshal’s Service located a suspect wanted on a felony manslaughter warrant in Tacoma. The suspect was arrested without incident.
#2023-091144/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1820 hours, a witness reported seeing a subject cut through a gate behind a business in the 400 block of NE Northgate Way. When officers arrived, Seattle Fire was on scene investigating an arson. The suspect had started a fire in the backroom of a department store and was seen fleeing through the front door after the incident. Fire was isolated only in the backroom. No reports of injuries or structural damage.
#2023-091258/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2052 hours, a subject lit a small fire in a bucket inside a residential building’s parking garage. Nearby civilians extinguished the fire just prior to officers arriving. Officers booked the suspect into KCJ for arson 2.
