Units working a Downtown patrol emphasis arrested a man and recovered narcotics, cash, and a realistic looking BB gun Sunday morning.
Just before 8:00 a.m., an officer patrolling the 300 block of Pine Street observed suspicious activity near a bus stop which he recognized as possible narcotics transactions.
The officer watched as the suspect exchanged narcotics placed in foil pieces for cash. Police contacted the man a short time later and took him into custody.
A search incident to arrest recovered 2.5 grams of methamphetamine, 3.8 grams of suspected fentanyl, $495 in cash, narcotics paraphernalia, and a BB gun which realistically resembled a Glock 19 pistol.
Officers booked the 32-year-old suspect into the King County Jail for felony narcotics offenses.
