On 4-16-2023 at 1941 hours, officers responded to shots fired with a vehicle speeding away and located evidence of a shooting. An area check was negative for the suspect vehicle, and no property damage was found.

On 4-14-2023, East Precinct cameras captured a suspect slashing the tires of the precinct’s janitorial crew. On 4-16 at 2300 hours, the suspect was spotted wandering around the precinct. After a short foot pursuit, officers took the suspect into custody.
