On 4-24-2023 at 0421 hours, officers responded to an alarm call at a University Village jewelry store. Four suspects gained entry and used a crowbar to smash several glass display cases, then stole an undetermined amount of jewelry.
#2023-110107/North Precinct/First Watch:
At 0423 hours, officers responded to a report of gunfire heard and located evidence of a shooting. Patrol processed the scene and recovered evidence.
#2023-110887/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1936 hours, officers responded to Ballard for a male armed with a knife fighting with another male. Officers determined this was a robbery and located the suspect who had been armed. The suspect was booked into KCJ for suspicion of robbery and officers recovered the knife.
