Disturbance Leads to Stabbing and Arrest in Olympic Hills

Police received a 911 call about a large group fighting in a parking lot and possible shots heard earlier this morning.

Officers arrived just after 1:30 a.m. in the 13700 block of 15th Avenue Northeast and found a man with a stab wound to his back. Several witnesses identified the suspect who was still at the scene to police.

It was reported the 42-year-old victim and the male suspect had a verbal altercation in the parking lot prior to the assault. The victim had attempted to walk away but the suspect allegedly ran after him and stabbed him in the back.

Seattle Fire Department responded and provided care to the man at the scene. He was later transported to Harborview Medical Center for further evaluation.

The 22-year-old male suspect was arrested for assault and booked into King County Jail.
