#2023-142238/North Precinct/Third Watch:
On 5-24-2023 at 0157 hours, multiple 911 callers reported shots fired near NE 130th Street and 1st Avenue NE. Patrol located a victim with gunshot wounds and recovered evidence from the scene. The victim was transported by Seattle Fire to HMC with non-life-threatening injuries.
#2023-142305/East Precinct/First Watch:
At 0522 hours, officers responded to reports of an in-progress burglary to an apartment garage. As officers arrived, the suspects left in a gray SUV which struck the patrol car at low speed. The suspect vehicle was later located abandoned and eventually reported as stolen. No officers were injured.
#2023-143231/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2236 hours, the CSCC received an “officer down” call from a subject who then disconnected. Responding units did not locate any downed or injured officers. A short time later, police located the subject who made the call and took him into custody for false reporting. The subject was subsequently sent to Swedish Cherry Hill for an involuntary mental health evaluation.
