#2023-171468/South Precinct/First Watch:
On 6-20-2023 at 0436 hours, officers responded to a robbery at a convenience store on MLK Jr Way S. The employee reported three suspects – one of whom was armed with a gun – entered the store and stole money, cigarettes, and lottery tickets while holding him at gunpoint. An area check was conducted for the suspects, but they were not located.

At 1105 hours, members of SPD’s Gun Violence Reduction Unit and Community Response Group joined the U.S. Marshals Service and Department of Corrections in a joint operation to locate a suspect with multiple felony warrants out of Tennessee. The suspect was taken into custody in Bellevue and booked into KCJ.
