#2023-187613/West Precinct/Second Watch:
On 7-4-2023 at 1345 hours, patrol units were dispatched to the 1200 block of 1st Avenue for a 911 call of a male reporting that he shot another male and wanted officers to respond so he could shoot police. Officers arrived in the area of the call and conducted a search for possible victims to no avail. The area of the alleged shooting was clear. Dispatch tracked the phone and found that it was moving southbound and no longer in the area of the alleged shooting.
#2023-187617/East Precinct/First Watch:
At 1348 hours, officers investigated a domestic violence incident in the area of the East Precinct. When officers went to arrest the suspect at a bus stop, he fled the scene on bicycle and was eventually taken into custody. The suspect was booked into KCJ for Domestic Violence Burglary, Domestic Violence Assault, Interfering with a Reporting of Domestic Violence, and Obstruction.
#2023-187715/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1556 hours, officers responded with Seattle Fire to a report of a child who fell from a sixth-floor window in the 2800 block of S Hanford Street. Medics rushed the child to HMC for medical treatment and further evaluation. It was determined the child pushed on the screen and fell out of the window.
#2023-187951/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2010 hours, officers responded to HMC for a shooting victim who was dropped off by a vehicle. The location and circumstances of the shooting are unknown. The victim was in stable condition following surgery.
#2023-188091/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2154 hours, the victim parked his vehicle in a parking lot in the 3900 block of S Othello Street when he was approached by three males with firearms. The suspects ordered the victim to get out of the vehicle and hand over his car keys, then took the vehicle and left the scene. The victim was not injured.
