A Sound Transit Security found an unresponsive man near a fence line in the Industrial District.
Police arrived near the intersection of Airport Way South and South Hinds Street just before 9:00 a.m. and found the man who was not breathing and unconscious. He had sustained gunshot wounds.
Seattle Fire arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The suspicious circumstances leading up to the shooting incident have not yet been determined.
SPD’s Crime Scene Investigations Unit responded to the scene alongside Homicide detectives who will lead the investigation.
