#2023-199577/West Precinct/First Watch:
On 7-15-2023, at approximately 06:05hrs, a disturbance was called in at 3 Avenue and Blanchard Street involving subjects with baseball bats chasing another male, but all involved left the area. At 06:10hrs officers were dispatched to a stabbing at 3 Avenue and Stewart Street. Officers located the victim alert and conscious with multiple stab wounds. Victim stated he sustained his injuries at 3 Avenue and Bell Street. It was ascertained it was related to the disturbance at 3 Avenue and Blanchard Street. Victim received treatment from officers and SFD on scene. The victim refused further medical treatment and provided no further information for the investigation.
#2023-199670/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 08:59hrs, officers were dispatched to a disturbance within Pike Place Market. The victim informed officers the suspect entered the business and began shouting racial slurs. The victim told the suspect if he kept yelling, he would have to leave. When asked to leave, the suspect called the victim derogatory names and assaulted him. Officers located the suspect and placed him under arrest. The suspect was booked into King County Jail for a hate crime offense.
#2023-200285/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 21:40hrs, officers responded to the 5600 block of 26 Avenue Southwest, where multiple callers reported hearing gunfire. Officers arrived and located evidence of a shooting in the area. No one reported being injured at the time of the incident.
