#2023-214894/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At approximately 0019 hours officers were dispatched to the area of 20th Ave East / E Republican St for the report of shots fired. On scene officers located 86 casings from 2 different caliber weapons. During the incident several vehicles were struck but no victims or suspects were located. Several suspects were seen running on foot the same direction.
#2023-215589/West Precinct/Second Watch:
On the 29th of July at 1714 hrs. officers responded to a call for service for shots fired. Officers arrived on scene and located two spent shell casings. Witnesses stated that a disturbance broke out between three suspects and a potential victim. The three subjects then got into a vehicle where one of them fired a round from a handgun. It is believed that the victim then pulled out his own firearm and fired one round at the vehicle. All parties left the area prior to officers arrival.
#2023-215734/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1940 hrs., officers responded to a report of a man in a vehicle driving away from Aurora Ave N that stopped his vehicle, exited and fired a handgun in the air while yelling. The male then shot additional rounds back toward Aurora Ave N before fleeing in the vehicle. At this time, no one was reported to have been shot. Multiple 9MM casings were recovered.
