#2023-237361/West Precinct/First Watch:
At approximately 0615 hours, a Port of Seattle PD Officer was flagged down at 4 Av/Pike St regarding a person that got shot. SFD and SPD patrol responded. A possible shooting scene was found on 5 Av / Pike St. sidewalk and two shell casings. The victim was transported to HMC by Medic One. Unit 211 responded and took charge of the incident. CVTF, GVRU, and PIO were advised. Patrol processed the scene.
#2023-237321/West Precinct/First Watch:
At 0510 hours, officers responded to a robbery in the 2600 block of 15 Av W. The victim/business owner was opening the shop and found several suspects inside stealing tools. As those suspects left the shop, they kicked the victim in the legs and knee. All suspects left in a vehicle. The victim declined medical assistance. Patrol responded and processed the scene. The area check was negative for the suspects. Robbery Unit was notified.
#2023-237489/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 0950 hours, West Bike Officers saw a person they recognized as having a warrant at 3rd and Pike. Officers contacted the suspect who attempted to run, but officers were able to control him and place him in handcuffs. The warrant was verified, and search incident to arrest recovered 1.1g of powdered fentanyl, 13.9g suspected fentanyl pills, and 21.6g of Methamphetamine. Suspect was booked into jail.
#2023-237640/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1135 hours, A juvenile victim was home alone when she heard someone attempting to enter her home. She contacted her father who then called 911 as the victim hid within the home. Police responded and had to force entry to get to the victim and search for the suspect. Officers located the suspect as he sat in the victim’s vehicle in the garage. The suspect refused to exit the vehicle and immediately began guzzling gasoline from a portable gas can. Officers forced entry into the vehicle to prevent the situation from escalating due to the suspect’s erratic behavior. The suspect was taken into custody.
#2023-215153/North Precinct/Second Watch:
Shortly before 1700 hours today, an off-duty SPD Media Unit Officer on-viewed a suspect of a robbery bulletin from a recent robbery-with-a-knife at a university area restaurant. He coordinated with me and on-duty Patrol by phone, and responding Patrol officers quickly located the suspect in the 1600 blk of NE 52nd St. He briefly eluded officers on foot but a few minutes later he was located nearby and compliantly arrested without resistance. Robbery Detectives were immediately contacted and given photos of this suspect and his shoes (which appeared to be the same worn during the robbery) and confirmed Probable Cause to arrest him. He was booked into KCJ for Inv. Robbery.
#2023-237967/South Precinct/Second Watch:
CRG located a warrant suspect in a vehicle with no plates. With the assistance of Guardian 1 CRG waited for the suspect to leave his vehicle and moved in to make an arrest. After a short foot pursuit, the suspect was arrested. A firearm was also recovered.
#2023-238367/East Precinct/Second Watch:
At approximately 2343, East Precinct Patrol Officers responded to reports of a male in a vehicle pointing a firearm at passersby in the area of Boren Av/Madison St. Officers arrived in the area and located the suspect vehicle at a nearby gas station. Officers contacted the vehicle and detained the occupants without incident. A juvenile female who exited out of the rear driver’s side passenger door was found to be in possession of two semi-automatic firearms. Both firearms in her possession were loaded. When rendering the firearms safe, a fired shell casing was ejected from one of the firearms. Both firearms returned clear, and in addition to the shell casings were collected as evidence. A suspect, who was a juvenile male, was arrested for assault 2. The juvenile female suspect in possession of the firearms was arrested for UPFA. Both arrested juvenile suspects were booked into YSC. The suspect vehicle was towed back to the East Precinct POV lot, and subsequent to a search warrant was searched, resulting in a 3rd firearm being located. This firearm possessed no serial number and had no obvious record.
