#2023-255526/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 9-4-2023, at 01:52hrs, a vehicle driven by a 24-year-old male was northbound on SR-99. As the vehicle exited the tunnel, the driver struck an unoccupied vehicle which was parked on the shoulder. The vehicles came to rest north of Mercer Street where they burst into flames. The driver and his three passengers were able to get out of the vehicle. The driver and three passengers suffered injuries from the collision. All were transported to HMC for medical treatment. The driver was suspected of being impaired and was evaluated by a DRE at the hospital.

#2023-255647/South Precinct/First Watch:

At 07:35hrs, there was an argument between two known subjects that led to an assault. After the physical altercation, the suspect left but then returned multiple times attempting to kick down the victim’s apartment door. Some time during the incident the suspect armed himself with a knife. The suspect eventually returned to his apartment where he barricaded himself inside. HNT and SWAT responded to the scene and assisted with taking the suspect into custody. The suspect was arrested for burglary and booked into King County Jail.

#2023-255910/South Precinct/Second Watch:

At 14:05hrs, South Precinct patrol observed a vehicle driving recklessly. Information was broadcasted about the vehicle. Officers later located the vehicle at a service station on Beacon Hill and contacted the occupants of the vehicle. Upon contact with police, the occupants fled on foot. The driver of the vehicle was immediately apprehended, and the back seat passenger was apprehended a few blocks away. The front seat passenger escaped. The vehicle turned out to be stolen out of Kirkland. Both suspects detained were juveniles. The back seat passenger was released to his parents, and the driver was booked into the King County Child and Family Justice Center for possession of a stolen motor vehicle and felony eluding.

#2023-256142/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 18:30hrs, Harbor responded to a reported overturned boat in Lake Union. Harbor located the vessel with multiple subjects in the water. There were community members assisting the subject’s in the water prior to Harbor’s arrival. Subjects were rescued by the community members from the capsized vessel and were brought aboard the Harbor vessels. All subjects aboard were accounted for and transported to Harbor station. SFD responded to Harbor station and evaluated all the subjects.
