Detectives are investigating a fatal collision in Carkeek Park on Monday afternoon.
Shortly after 1200 p.m., police responded to reports of a single vehicle collision in the 1400 block of Northwest Carkeek Park Road. When officers arrived, they located a vehicle that left the roadway and struck a tree. The driver, a male in his 50’s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Patrol officers secured the scene until detectives with the Traffic Collision Investigation Squad arrived.
