#2023-307020/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
On 10-23-2023, at 08:46hrs, officers were dispatched to Lincoln Park for a report of two men with dogs harassing work crews attempting to set up fencing for a proposed pickleball court. Police assisted in resolving the disturbance between both parties.
#2023-307373/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At 14:40hrs, officers responded to a shooting call in the area of Southwest Webster Street and 35th Avenue Southwest. Officers located evidence of a shooting and four buildings with ballistic damage. It was reported two male suspects got out of a blue sedan and fired shots towards 35th Avenue Southwest. Suspects then fled the scene heading westbound on Southwest Webster Street. Officers searched but did not locate the suspects. A short time later, police received information about a gunshot wound victim possibly related to this incident arrived at HMC.
#2023-307458/South Precinct/Second Watch:
At 15:53hrs, As the victim was walking home, he was robbed at gunpoint by two unknown suspects. One of the suspects was wearing a hoodie. An area search for the suspects had negative results.
#2023-307461/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At 15:55hrs, officers responded to a strong-arm robbery in the area of Southwest California and Southwest Edmunds Street. The victim reported she was walking in the area and an unknown suspect grabbed the victim’s purse. After a brief struggle, the suspect was able to steal the victim’s purse. The suspect got into a silver Hyundai and fled the scene. Officers conducted an area search for the suspect’s vehicle but was unable to locate the vehicle.
#2023-307471/South Precinct/Second Watch:
At 16:01hrs, the victim was walking home and was robbed by two female suspects in a vehicle. One of the suspects was armed with pepper spray. The suspects took the victim’s cell phone. An area check for the suspects had negative results.
